Palmer led the Redhawks to their first win in Martin, Tenn. since the 2016-17 campaign while the Skyhawks are the sixth team that Coach Palmer has defeated in the league.Â
Â
Control the Glass

The 49 rebounds in a single-game also marked the most rebounds the Redhawks have had in a game against a DI opponent and missed their season-high by just two boards (51, vs. Harris-Stowe).Â
Â
Holy Freshman
Freshman

Lexi McCully led all scorers from three-point range (4-9).Â
Â
Affect in Other Ways
Sophomore forward

Jones registered three blocks, marking the third time this season she has recorded 3+ blocks in a game. She also hauled in five defensive rebounds and recorded a steal in 19-minutes of action.Â
Â
Down the Stretch
The Redhawks victory at UT Martin marked the fifth conference win of the season, and the most in two seasons under Head Coach Briley Palmer. The final three games will be massive as the Redhawks eye for their first OVC Tournament berth under Palmer, sitting currently one-game behind SIUE. The Cougars (6-11) defeated Tennessee Tech on Thursday night (7-10) in Cookeville, Tenn. SEMO needs to pick up a gigantic win at Little Rock Saturday to keep pace in the race.Â
