CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri completed its 2025-26 roster when it signed Stetson University transfer guard Blaize Sagna Friday.
Sagna (6'3", 190), who is from London, England, played in 25 games and made seven starts for the Hatters last season. He totaled 59 points, 51 rebounds, 32 assists, two blocks and 10 steals.
"Blaize gives us toughness, maturity and depth at all guard positions," said SEMO Head Coach
Brad Korn. "He has a good feel for the game to go along with a high basketball IQ. His vocal leadership and willingness to do anything to win will be of great value for us. He embodies what our program values and we are excited to have him."
Prior to Stetson, Sagna played two seasons at Minnesota Crookston from 2022-24. He started all 28 games averaging 20.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 2023-24. Sagna averaged 15.9 points per game on 43.6 percent from the field during the 2022-23 campaign. He was the Golden Eagles' leading scorer both years.
Sagna began his college career at Howard University, where he played the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. He averaged 11 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists as a sophomore and 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest as a freshman.
Sagna scored a total of 1,506 points between his stops at Howard, Minnesota Crookston and Stetson.
He is the third transfer to join the Redhawks along with
Landren Blocker (Louisiana Tech) and
Luke Almodovar (St. Francis (Ind.). Freshmen
PJ Farmer and
Trace Sadler also signed national letters of intent.
