Redhawks Trek to Wichita State Tuesday
Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball (1-2) are back on the road for their second road test of the season on Tuesday, November 18, when they take on Wichita State (1-3) in Wichita, Kansas. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., CT. from Charles Koch Arena.Â

Series History
Tuesday's contest marks just the third time the Redhawks and Shockers have met on the hardwood, and the first time since the 2015-16 season as the series is tied at 1-1. Both previous matchups have taken place in Wichita, Kan. As the Shockers won the first ever meeting in 2013 (67-46). The Redhawks returned the favor with a 66-62 overtime victory on December 4, 2015.Â

Tough Battle
A week ago, the Redhawks battled in-state foe Missouri State at the Show Me Center in a 67-57 loss. SEMO entered the fourth quarter trailing by a score of 50-37 and opened the scoring with a layup from
Lexi McCully to pull SEMO to within 11. Back-to-back three pointers from McCully cut the gap to 56-51 nearing the end of the contest, but the Bears would hold on for the 10-point victory. McCully finished with a team-high 16 points, followed by
Ainaya Williams with 14 points. Williams chipped in six rebounds and a block, bringing her streak to 11-straight games with a block. Guard
Raissa Nsabua was the facilitator as she dished out 11 assists, grabbed seven boards, and scored five points.Â

Through three games this season, guard
Lexi McCully has been the Redhawks' leading scorer in each contest. McCully has scored 16 points in three-straight games to begin the season and is shooting an impressive 40-percent from the field (18-45). McCully has 48 points on the season and is shooting 30-percent from three-point range (6-20), and 67-percent from the foul line (6-9).Â

Graduate student guard
Raissa Nsabua dished out a career-high 11 assists on Tuesday night against Missouri State. Nsabua, who missed the game against Evansville with an injury, returned to the starting lineup against MSU and dished out 11 assists in 37 minutes of action. She leads the squad with 13 assists on the season and has a 1.3 assist-to-turnover ratio.Â

Familiar Territory
Nsabua is also familiar with Wichita, Kansas. The Ottawa, Ontario-native began her collegiate career at Wichita State. For the Shockers, Nsabua played in 42 games and made 19 starts for WSU before transferring to Robert Morris last season. She scored 115 points in a WSU uniform and dished out 38 assists in two seasons.Â

Raissa Nsabua is tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference in assists in just two games played. Nsabua's 13 assists ties her with Ali Saunders of Southern Indiana for the most in the league. The two average a league-leading 6.5 assists per game and have played the same number of games early on in 2025-26.Â

Zoey Rixter has made a big impact off the bench for the Redhawks in her first three collegiate games. Rixter, a native Memphis, Tennessee, hauled in a career-high nine rebounds against Missouri State in just 20 minutes of action. She is averaging a team-high 6.7 rebounds-per-game and leads the Redhawks with 20 total rebounds this season.Â

Rixter has also cracked into the top 10 of the Ohio Valley Conference in rebounding. Leading the Redhawks, Rixter's 20 total rebounds ranks her 10
th in the OVC through her first three games of collegiate basketball. She has corralled three offensive boards and 17 defensive rebounds. LaReesha Cawthron of Tennessee Tech leads the league with 9.8 RPG.Â

Ainaya Williams and
Aa'Mya Stacker have done a great job on the offensive glass for the Redhawks through three games. The frontcourt duo has hauled in eight-of-SEMO's-24 offensive rebounds this season. Williams hauled in a season-high two offensive boards against Missouri State in just 18 minutes of action.Â

Stacker has come off the bench in all three games this season and recorded her season-high in points on Tuesday night. She scored eight points on 3-6 shooting (50%) in just 17 minutes of action. She brought her total to 15 points on the season as she is averaging 5.0 PPG.Â

SEMO Women's Basketball is averaging 65.0 PPG through the first three games of the season. The Redhawks scored their season high of 71 in a victory over Evansville (11/6).
