INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Southeast Missouri track and field wrapped up day two of the crossroads of America Invite with 22 Top 20 performances and nine new personal records.
Top 10 Marks
Erika Mellor clocks in at 2:13.60 in the women's 800-meter for eighth.
Cole Reinders crosses the line in the 800m at 1:52.22 to take ninth
During the men's 5000m
Nick Cimmarusti posted a time of 14:29.72 (PR) for second, Noah little recorded a time of 14:38.84 for fourth,
Garrett Dumke ran for a time of 14:42.95 for fifth, Myles thornuburg placed eighth (15:00.95) and
Cade McCadams placed 10th (15:08.94, PR).
With a mark of 49' 10"
Kenyon Johnson jumps to fourth place in the triple jump.
Paden Lewis chalked up a bronze medal in the shot put with a mark 60' 0.25"
Notable Performances
The freshman duo of
Lauren Eftink and
Mattea Pearsall both finished the mile with new PR times of 5:12.00 (30th) and 5:15.01 (32nd).
In the women's shot put
Andreese Ortiz and
Baylee Beard notched marks of 44' 6.25" (PR) and 42' 11"for 12th and 16th place.
With a distance of 37' 7.25"
Molly Grohmann placed 14th and achieved a new personal record.
The Freshman
Evan Fuller crossed the line at 4:28.57 (25th) in the mile for a new PR.
In the women's pole vault
Clara Billing cleared a height of 12' 5.25" to finish in 16th.
In the women's 5000
Lexie Dockstader placed 11th (17:55.57, PR),
Kayla Vogelsang placed 12th (18:09.55),
Cordelia Hoover placed 16th (18:20.41),
Brooklyn Bender placed 17th (18:52.88), and
Alayna Sparr placed placed 18th (18:56.47, PR).
Cole Bruenderman posted a mark of 45' 7.75" for 12th in the triple jump.
