Redhawks Sign Forward Brendan Terry

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri signed Pensacola State transfer forward Brendan Terry Thursday.

A native of Santa Monica, California, Terry (6'7", 215) comes to SEMO after playing the last two seasons at Pensacola State College.

"Brendan is an exciting player for us and has a lot to prove," said SEMO Head Coach Brad Korn. "We welcome his maturity, IQ, and physicality to our front line. His low block scoring abilities, presence at the rim and ability to guard multiple positions on the defensive end will help us."

As a sophomore, Terry started 20 games and averaged 21 minutes per contest for the Pirates. He averaged 7.7 points and seven rebounds as the team's top rebounder and fourth-leading scorer. Terry registered a team-best 19 blocks and shot 50.3 percent (78-of-155) from the field.

Terry saw action in 29 games and logged six starts during his rookie season in 2022-23. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds a game that year. Terry made 58.7 percent (71-of-121) of his field goals in his first season of college basketball.

Terry joins fellow transfers Teddy Washington Jr. (G, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi), Elliot Lowndes (F, John A. Logan College) and Troy Cole Jr. (G, Highland CC) on the 2024-25 roster.
