MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Southeast Missouri enjoyed a fruitful day one of the Memphis Invite with eight first place finishes, 24 top five performances, and 11 new personal records.
Day two of the meet begins at 10:00 a.m with the high jump while the running events are slated for 12:20 with the 4x100m relay.
Top of the Podium
Parker Feuerborn takes the trophy with a final hammer throw mark of 218' 3".
Aarion Jackson took the gold medal and a new personal best with a long jump distance of 23' 6".
In the javelin throw
Justin Breault threw for a mark of 183' 11" in the men's and
Jaden Kight's distance reached 152' 7" (New PR) on the women's side. Both claimed gold.
Brianna Payton crossed the line at 4:40.15 to place first in the women's 1500-meter race.
Tanner Koontz vaulted over a height of 15' 8.25 to notch first place in the pole vault.
In the women's pole vault
Clara Billing jumped over a height of 13' 2.75" for first.
With a new personal best and time of 18:20.68
Layla Fliege placed first in the 5000m.
PR's Galore
In the women's hammer throw
Bailee Hux and
Alivia Busch threw for marks of 176' 2" (2nd) and 161' 11" (6th) recorded new personal bests.
The men's hammer throw saw
Paden Lewis record a distance of 211' 7" for a new PR for second.
With a seventh place finish
Tayler Gudde achieved a new personal record (17' 9.5").
In the 1500m
Kayla Vogelsang placed fourth (4:47.39) and
Alayna Sparr placed eighth (4:54.49) while both posted new PRs.
With times of 4:07.55 (7th) and 4:08.76 (8th)

Top Five Finishes
With a fourth place finish
Piper Klinger posted a distance of 169' 8".
Marshall Swadley takes the bronze in the hammer throw with a mark of 199' 11".
Jacob Miller posted a mark of 21' 0.75" for the third place finish in the long jump.

Ciara Potter jumped for marks of 18' 6.75" (3rd), 18' 6" (4th), and 18' 5.25 (5th).
Kendall Holweg threw the javelin a distance of 114' 3" for third place.
In the 1500m
Nick Cimmarusti notched a finishing time of 3:58.84 for fourth.
Sullivan Gleason jumped over the same height as Koontz in first but had two more attempts on it to place second (15' 8.25)
Charlie Ham tied her season high in the pole vault with a vault of 12' 2.75" for fifth.
Semo's trio of runners
Haley Smith (19:06.11),
Brooklyn Bender (19:15.21), and
Mackenzie Pugh (19:39.05) placed second, fourth and fifth in the 5000m.
