Series History
Southeast Missouri holds a 51-37 lead in its all-time series with UT Martin. UTM, however, has won six of the last seven meetings between the teams. SEMO is 13-29 all-time against the Skyhawks at the Elam Center. The Redhawks have dropped five in a row on UTM's home court.

Road Tripping
The Redhawks close out January with three-straight road games. Southeast Missouri visits UT Martin (Jan. 25), Little Rock (Jan. 27) and Lindenwood (Jan. 30) during that stretch which matches SEMO's longest road string of the season. The Redhawks are 0-9 outside away from Cape Girardeau with a 0-8 mark in true road games. SEMO dropped 12-straight true road games dating back to 2022-23. The Redhawks last true road victory was at Eastern Illinois (79-68) on Jan. 28, 2023.

Redhawks Upend SIU Edwardsville
Southeast Missouri ended a four-game losing streak in Ohio Valley Conference play when it took down SIU Edwardsville in a low scoring 52-47 victory on Jan. 20. SEMO made six free throws in the final 21 seconds to seal the win. The Redhawks beat the Cougars in seven of the last eight meetings between the teams. SEMO put a halt to SIUE's three-game winning streak, as well.

Branson Logs 100th Career Game
Dylan Branson played in his 100th career game against SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 20). Branson scored four points and grabbed six rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench. He has played in 100 games and made 57 starts in his Southeast Missouri tenure.

Let's Get Another
The Redhawks go for their second win in a row when they face UT Martin Thursday. Southeast Missouri won back-to-back games one other time this season when it began December with victories over Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3) and Harris-Stowe (Dec. 6).

Earley is Rolling
Josh Earley scored double figures and led the Redhawks in scoring during each of his last five starts. Earley scored a career-high 20 points at Tennessee Tech (Jan. 13), 18 at Western Illinois (Jan. 4), 14 vs. Bethel (Jan. 6) and 16 against both Lindenwood (Jan. 11) and SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 20). He is averaging 9.4 points a game as Southeast Missouri's second-leading scorer.

Seven in a Row
Rob Martin pitched in double figures in each of his last seven starts. Martin recently dropped in 10 points against SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 20). Martin leads the team with 12 double-digit scoring games this season.

Low Scoring Affair
Southeast Missouri (52) and SIU Edwardsville (47) combined for only 99 points on Jan. 20. It was the lowest scoring game the Redhawks were part of this season. The teams also shot a combined 18.7 percent (6-of-32) from 3-point range. The 47 points were the fewest SEMO allowed in an Ohio Valley Conference game under Head Coach Brad Korn. Additionally, the Redhawks held a OVC opponent under 50 points for the first time since Dec. 31, 2016 (48, vs. Eastern Kentucky).

Great Effort
The 47 points Southeast Missouri allowed against SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 20) are the fewest given up by any team in an Ohio Valley Conference game this season. They are also the second fewest points SEMO allowed in any OVC contest since it joined the league in 1991-92. The fewest points the Redhawks allowed in a OVC game stand at 46 vs. Tennessee State on Jan. 6, 2000.

Top Redhawk
Rob Martin is Southeast Missouri's top scorer this season. Martin averages 11.8 points per game as the only Redhawk averaging double figures in the scoring column. He scored double-digits in 12 of his last 14 starts. Martin also leads the Redhawks in assists (63) and minutes played (30.2 mpg).

Martin Fifth in OVC in Assist/Turnover Ratio
Rob Martin ranks fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference in assist/turnover ratio. Martin leads the Redhawks with 63 assists and has turned the ball over 43 times for a 1.4 ratio. He dished out a season-high seven assists against Southern Indiana (Dec. 29).

3-Pointer Streak
As a team, Southeast Missouri has made at least one 3-pointer in 478 consecutive games. The last time SEMO did not make a 3-pointer was vs. Western Illinois (0-of-6) on Dec. 10, 2008.

About UT Martin
UT Martin is in a three-way tie for fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference standings. UTM, Eastern Illinois and Little Rock all share that spot with identical 3-3 league records. The Skyhawks are the OVC's top scoring team averaging 81.9 points per game. UTM also leads the conference in 3-point field goal percentage (.361) and rate second in 3-point field goals made (168). Jordan Sears leads the OVC in scoring with 19.4 points and stands second with 4.1 assists per game. The Skyhawks have lost two of their last three games at the Elam Center.
