Redhawks Return Home For Final Midweek Tuesday Against Middle Tennessee
Southeast Missouri (26-23, 14-4 OVC) will host the final midweek matchup of the season on Tuesday, May 9, against Conference-USA member Middle Tennessee (23-23, 12-12 CUSA) from Capaha Field. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m., CT. 
 
Boy Band Day
Tuesday's matchup will be 'Boy Band' day at the ballpark. The first 200 fans (or while supplies last) will receive a free 'Boy Band' themed tank top courtesy of Burritoville.
 
Fill The Hill Tuesday
'Fill the Hill'  is back for Tuesday's midweek matchup. Complimentary adult beverages will be provided by Kohlfeld Distributing to anyone 21+ with a valid I.D.  
 
Coolers are also allowed on Tuesday for fans wanting to bring their own drinks to the stadium. Fans are welcome to bring their own coolers stocked with their favorite beverages to the ballpark for a nominal fee at the gate. Cost is $10 for any size cooler. Coolers may contain beverages only as outside food is prohibited. 
 
Series History
Tuesday's matchup will mark the second time this season that the Blue Raiders and Redhawks have met on the baseball diamond in 2023. MTSU took the first meeting back on February 21, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. by a final score of 8-3.
 
MTSU has an overall series lead of 22-13 agains the Redhawks. 
 
Last Time Out
The Redhawks struggled to get much going offensively over the three-game set in Manhattan, Kan. as the Wildcats took all three games, including Friday night's contest by a final score of 2-1. 
 
LHP Noah Niznik had another tremendous outing, as he went 7.0 innings allowing just two runs on six hits and striking out two. 
 
A solo home run by Jevon Mason in the fifth inning was all SEMO could come up with to drop game one. 
 
Shortstop Peyton Leeper accounted for four-out-of-five RBIs as SEMO dropped Saturday's contest, 12-5. Leeper, who finished the day going 3-for-4, including a solo home run in the fourth and a three-run home run in the sixth, but the Wildcats used 11 hits to down SEMO. 
 
In Sunday's Finale, KSU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never relinquished the lead as the Wildcats hit four home runs as a team to win the game 10-0 in seven innings.
