Belmont leads the all-time series against Southeast Missouri, 8-4, and is 4-1 against the Redhawks at the Curb Event Center. It has been 399 days since the Redhawks last faced the Bruins of Belmont. The Bruins traveled to the Show Me Center where SEMO fell, 67-57, on December 28, 2017. SEMO is 1-3 against Belmont since head coach Rekha Patterson took over the program during the 2015-16 season. The Redhawks won one game in their last seven matchups with the Bruins.

SEMO swept SIUE with a 65-62 win in Edwardsville (Jan. 3) and 63-58 victory in Cape Girardeau (Jan. 24). It was the fifth Ohio Valley Conference sweep under head coach Rekha Patterson and first against SIUE since t2013-14. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 17.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 3.9 assists and 2.9 steals per contest. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in 17 contests during the 2018-19 season, totaling 374 forced turnovers for the year. Scouting the Bruins
The Bruins are 14-5 overall and 7-1 in conference play. Belmont is 18-1 in OVC play under head coach Bart Brooks, with the lone loss to undefeated Tennessee Tech (Jan. 5, 77-72). This was Belmont's first conference loss since February 15, 2016 when it fell, 81-79. to UT Martin. Senior Jenny Roy recorded a triple-double (10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in Belmont's 80-62 victory over Austin Peay. OVC Preseason Payer of the Year Darby Maggard averages 15.3 points per game for Belmont and is a perfect 27-of-27 at the free throw line. The Bruins average 70.5 points and 42.1 rebounds per game.
