Series History
Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series against Eastern Illinois, 24-20 with a 14-7 mark in Cape Girardeau. The last meeting was at the Show Me Center on February 14, 2018 when the Redhawks topped the Panthers, 51-48. SEMO is 5-3 overall and 3-1 at home against EIU under head coach Rekha Patterson. Matt Bollant is in his second season as EIU's head coach and holds a 0-2 record against SEMO.

The Redhawks are currently 9-9 this season and are 4-3 in OVC play. Southeast swept SIUE with a 65-62 win in Edwardsville (Jan. 3) and 63-58 victory in Cape Girardeau (Jan. 24). Tesia Thompson leads the team with 17.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 3.9 assists and 2.9 steals per contest.
