Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series against Saint Louis, 34-27. The last meeting between these teams was earlier this season when Southeast beat SLU, 10-8, on April 17. The Redhawks go for their third win against the Billikens this season.

Redhawks OVC Series
Southeast is currently 15-9 in the Ohio Valley Conference and has won five of its seven conference series this season. The Redhawks presently stand tied for fourth in the league standings behind Tennessee Tech (19-2), Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky (14-7). Southeast has swept two teams this season, including SIU Edwardsville and Murray State. The Redhawks ended Tennessee Tech's 28-game winning streak in Cookeville on Apr. 29.

Swingin' Away
The Redhawks had a total of 36 hits against Tennessee Tech. Trevor Ezell had 10 of those hits himself. Ezell had four singles in Sunday's series finale tto lead Southeast to victory. He had three doubles in the series, as well.. Justin Dirden had a home run and two doubles, while Chase Urhahn had six singles against the Golden Eagles.

Southeast has 651 total bases this season. Justin Dirden leads the team with 108, whileTrevor Ezell (102) and Tristen Gagan (87) follow. Ezell has 343 total bases his career to date and Gagan has 205.  

Midweek Play
Southeast snapped a six-game losing streak in midweek games when it beat Saint Louis, 4-2, on Apr. 4. It was the Redhawks first midweek win of the season. Chase Urhahn had one RBI on three hits, including two doubles. Nathan Bock recorded his first career win on the mound. Southeast continued the trend with a 15-0 win over McKendree (Apr. 10) and 10-8 victory over Saint Louis (Apr. 17) at Capaha Field. SEMO defeated SLU for the second time this year.

Redhawks Field Cleanly
There are two Redhawks currently with a 1.000 fielding percentage. Alex Canty and Peyton Faulkner have no errors through 44 games this season. Faulkner has 46 putouts with no errors in 29 outfield starts. Meanwhile, Alex Canty has only played defense in four games this season, but has five putouts and 12 assists. Wade Stauss has a .996 fielding percentage on 225 putouts with one error. Tristen Gagan owns a .995 fielding percentage on 349 putouts on two errors. 

Redhawks Bust the Streak
Southeast defeated Tennessee Tech (Apr. 29) to end the nation's longest win streak at 28 games. The Redhawks dropped the first two games of the series, but prevailed in the finale. TTU's last loss was Mar. 10.
