Series History
Tuesday marks the 110th meeting between Southeast and UT Martin. The Redhawks hold a 63-46 lead in the all-time series. Southeast and UTM split a doubleheader in Martin, Tennessee last season. The Redhawks are looking for their first series win against the Skyhawks since 2006.

OVC Update
Southeast is presently fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference standings. The Redhawks share that spot with Austin Peay as both have 8-4 conference records this season. UT Martin is sixth in the league with a 5-7 mark.

Last Time Out
The Redhawks became the first Ohio Valley Conference school to sweep league counterpart SIU Edwardsville in a doubleheader this season. Southeast won by scores of 6-2 and 7-5 on Apr. 13. The Redhawks snapped a 14-game losing streak in their series against the Cougars and beat SIUE for the first time since 2012.

Pruett Plays Strong
Darby Pruett hit .375 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and .444 on-base percentage in three games last week. All three of Pruett's hits went for extra bases. She had two doubles, a home run and five RBI. Pruett had multiple RBI in three of her last four contests.

Southeast is 24-15 through 39 games this season. The 24 wins are the Redhawks most in a season under head coach Mark Redburn. Southeast is looking for its first winning season since 2011 (31-30). 

Home Run Count
The Redhawks have 32 home runs this season and recently surpassed their total of 31 from 2017. Southeast is third in the Ohio Valley Conference in home runs behind Eastern Kentucky (52) and Austin Peay (40). Sarah Messex leads the team with seven homers through 39 starts in 2018.

Anderson On Pace to Break Triples Record
Sophomore Rachel Anderson hit her team and Ohio Valley Conference high sixth triple vs. SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 14). Anderson ranks second all-time in career triples at Southeast. She is fifth in the nation in triples. Anderson has a total of 14 in her career and ranks second all-time behind Kathy Rediger (1981-84, 18 triples). Southeast is also fifth nationally in triples as a team (0.41).

Home Record
Southeast is presently 8-2 at the Southeast Softball Complex this season. The Redhawks swept Indiana State (Mar. 13), Tennessee Tech (Mar. 23) and SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 13) in doubleheaders and and split two games with Missouri (Mar. 21) and Jacksonville State (Mar. 25). Southeast is 149-138 all-time on its home diamond.
