Biography

Career: Currently one of 131 NCAA Division I hitters with a career batting average of .400 or better...Is hitting .422 for her college career...Ranked 54th among the Top-100 players for 2020 by Softball America...Became Southeast Missouri’s first First-Team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 21 years...Three-time First-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference pick...Three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region selection...2019 OVC Player of the Year...2019 Third-Team NFCA All-American, SEMO’s first All-American in 28 years...Also became SEMO’s first All-American during its NCAA Division I era...Ranks among the school’s all-time career leaders in batting average (1st, .422), slugging percentage (1st, .728), on-base percentage (1st, .509), runs scored (2nd, 143), hits (3rd, 226), doubles (t7th, 34), triples (1st, 29), home runs (4th, 24), RBI (3rd, 130), total bases (2nd, 390), walks (2nd, 86) and stolen bases (2nd, 59)...Named OVC Freshman of the Year in 2017...Started every game of her career for a streak of 184 consecutive starts...Recorded 70 multiple-hit games and 33 multi-RBI performances.

2020 (Shortened due to COVID-19): Became only SEMO’s second First-Team CoSIDA Academic All-American and first in 21 years...Hit a team-best .480 and led the Redhawks in runs (19), hits (24), triples (5), slugging percentage (.880), on-base percentage (.541) and stolen bases (9) in 17 starts...Hit three home runs...Had a team-high nine multiple-hit performances...Drove in two or more runs four times...Put together a six-game hitting streak from Feb. 23-Mar. 6 with two hits in five of those contests...At the suspension of play in March, she led the OVC in four categories, including batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and triples...Also ranked fourth in the nation in triples and second in triples per game (0.29)...Hit a triple in three of her first five games and ended the shortened 2020 campaign with two triples at Mississippi State (3/8)...Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run and three RBI vs. Purdue Fort Wayne (2/14)...Notched a career-high four stolen bases vs. Kansas City (2/29)...OVC Medal of Honor recipient and Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection.

2018: Garnered First-Team All-OVC and Second-Team NFCA All-Region pick for the second-straight season…Led the team in batting average (.373), slugging percentage (.547), on-base percentage (.469), runs (36), hits (56), triples (6), doubles (11), total bases (82), walks (25), stolen bases (15), stolen base attempts (22), total plate appearances (184), at-bats (150) and games played (53)…Started every game...Hit a team-high .368 with 26 hits, 14 runs, five doubles, one triple, four home runs and 17 RBI in 22 conference starts…Ranked second on the team with 12 multiple-hit games and fourth with seven multi-RBI performances…Ended the year on a 16-game hitting streak and reached base safely in each of her last 23 games of the season…Ranked third in the OVC in batting average, fourth in on-base percentage and first in triples…Ranked 11th in the nation in triples and 19th in triples per game (0.11)…Finished with a season-high three hits on three occasions at Chattanooga (2/24), at Creighton (3/9) and vs. Tennessee State (4/28)…Hit her only home run of the season at Chattanooga (2/24)…Committed only one error and boasted a .990 fielding percentage…OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection.

2017: Named OVC Freshman of the Year and claimed First-Team All-OVC and All-Newcomer honors...Earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second-Team All-Mideast Region accolades...Finished her outstanding rookie campaign ranked second in the OVC in batting average (.412), first in triples (8) and among the top five individuals in slugging percentage (2nd, .719), on-base percentage (4th, .483), hits (t3rd, 63) and total bases (2nd, 110)...Ranked third in the nation in triples and seventh in triples per game (0.16)...Led the Redhawks in batting average, at-bats (153), hits, doubles (10), triples, home runs (7), runs batted in (33), total bases, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, multi-hit games (21), multi-RBI performances (10) and games started (50)...Ended the year on an 11-game hitting streak and helped lead Southeast to victory in six of its final nine contests of the season...Won OVC Player of the Week honors on Feb. 13...She hit .750 (6-for-8) with six runs scored, two doubles, two triples, a home run and seven RBIs to help the Redhawks win the Jackson State Tournament (2/11-12)...Had multiple hits in each of her first three career starts and homered on the first pitch in her first collegiate at-bat of the season...Boasted a 1.875 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage during opening weekend...Posted a season-high three RBIs on four occasions...Reached base in the last 13 games of her rookie campaign...Rated fourth among the school’s single-season leaders in batting average, third in slugging percentage, seventh in hits, second in triples and tied for third in total bases.

Prep: Named the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro Spring Softball Player of the Year and earned First-Team Illinois Coaches Association Class 4A All-State honors at Edwardsville High School…Hit .543 with a .922 slugging percentage and set new school records in runs scored (52) and triples (9) during her outstanding senior campaign…Also notched four home runs, 44 RBI, 11 stolen bases, 14 doubles and a near .600 on-base percentage…Hit .507 with 212 hits, 182 runs scored, 52 doubles, 22 triples, 18 home runs, 140 RBIs, 41 stolen bases, 65 walks, a .570 on-base percentage and an .871 slugging percentage in four prep seasons…All-State honoree each of her four high school seasons…ASA Junior Olympics All-Star Team Most Valuable Player…Played for the St. Louis Chaos-Gold summer league team.
