The Southeast Softball Complex has been the home of Redhawk Softball since 1999. The complex contains three regulation softball fields, all of which have lights. It has batting cages, an air-conditioned press box large enough to accomodate print and broadcast media, and bleacher seating. There is a hill beyond the right field fence that provides fans with a unique view of the action. The Southeast Softball Complex was constructed as part of Southeast Missouri State University's effort to improve its sports facilities. Renovations made through the years include a fenced backstop with concrete base and netting, batting cages, padding for the backstop, dugout areas and outfield wall, concrete under the bleachers, windscreens and capping on fences and videoboard/sound system among other things. The first game played at the Southeast Softball Complex was on May 6, 1999 (vs. Northern Iowa).
