Redhawks Open OVC Play
Southeast Missouri (16-10) opens its 22-game Ohio Valley Conference schedule when it hosts Tennessee Tech (9-17) Friday and defending OVC Champion Jacksonville State (12-13) Sunday. The Redhawks
will play a Noon, CT, doubleheader Friday and 1 p.m., CT, douleheader Sunday at the Southeast Softball Complex.

Series History
Southeast owns a 48-41 record in its all-time series against Tennessee Tech. The Redhawks will face the Golden Eagles for the second time this season when they meet to open league play Saturday. Southeast and TTU met a week ago at the Memphis Tiger Classic on Mar. 17. The Redhawks beat the Golden Eagles, 7-3, in that contest. Meanwhile, Jacksonville State is 38-3 all-time against Southeast. The Redhawks are looking to snap a 12-game losing streak in their series against the Gamecocks. Southeast last beat JSU on Apr. 6, 2012 (3-1) in Cape Girardeau.
Home Stand Continues
The Redhawks close out a six-game home stand when Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State comes to town this weekend. It is the longest home stand Southeast has this season.Â
Building Momentum
Southeast has won seven of its last eight games. The Redhawks recently saw a season-long six-game winning streak end in a doubleheader split with SEC member Missouri Wednesday. Southeast is 9-6 so far in March.
OVC Openers
The Redhawks are 16-10 all-time in Ohio Valley Conference openers. Southeast opened conference play with a win in five of the last seven seasons. This year marks the second in a row where the Redhawks meet Tennessee Tech to start league play.
Redhawks Beat Missouri
Southeast ended an 18-game losing streak against in-state foe Missouri when it upended the Tigers, 8-2, in game two of a doubleheader Wednesday. The Redhawks last beat Missouri on Apr. 20, 2000 (5-0). It was the first time Mark Redburn beat the Tigers since he left Missouri in 2009. Redburn previously worked as an assistant coach at Missouri from 2007-09.
Home Record
Southeast is presently 3-1 at the Southeast Softball Complex this season. The Redhawks swept Indiana State (Mar. 13) in a doubleheader and split two games with Missouri (Mar. 21). Southeast is 144-137 all-time on its home diamond.

Sophomore center fielder Rachel Anderson is 10 hits away from reaching 100 in her career. Anderson ranks second on the team with 27 hits in 26 starts this season. She also leads the Redhawks in triples (4) and is second in batting average (.370).
Season-High for Krumrey
Madeline Krumrey posted a season-high seven strikeouts in a complete game victory over Missouri (Mar. 21). Krumrey gave up just two runs on four hits against the Tigers. It was her team-high fifth complete game this season and fourth time she finished with five or more strikeouts in 13 starts.
Eight Wins
Madeline Krumrey nailed down her eighth win of the season when she beat SEC member Missouri (Mar. 21). Krumrey improved to 8-3 in the circle and now stands tied for third in the Ohio Valley Conferencein wins.
Home Run Party
Southeast has homered in six of its last seven contests. The Redhawks hit a home run in each of their last four games. Southeast finished with multiple home runs in a game for the fourth time this season when it hit three against Missouri (Mar. 21). The Redhawks are tied for second in the league with 24 round-trippers through 26 contests. Abby Tillotson and Ashley Ellis lead the team with five home runs apiece.
