Southeast Missouri women's basketball (11-12, 6-5) hosts the Austin Peay Governors (12-10, 5-6) on Saturday at the Show Me Center.
 
Scouting Austin Peay 
The Governors fell last game to UT Martin 66-100. In that game no player on Austin Peay scored more than five points. On the season, the Govs are led by Brianne Alexander and Falon Baker who are both averaging just over 10 points per contest

Last Meeting with Murray State
In their first meeting earlier this season, Southeast Missouri fell to Austin Peay by one point at 66-65. The Redhawks last victory against the Governors came on Jan 30, 2016 where Southeast won 71-69. Austin Peay leads the all-time series 32-22.
 
Redhawks Defeat Murray State, 80-70
The first three quarters were a battle, with neither team able to gain any sort of significant advantage. Southeast slightly pulled away early in the fourth but Murray cut it to three with three minutes remaining. The Redhawks answered that run with a 7-0 of their own to close out the game and eventually win by 10.
 
A Look at What's Ahead
The Redhawks will head to Morehead, Ky. for their next game to complete the season series with the Morehead State Eagles.
