The Southeast Missouri women's basketball team will host Harris-Stowe in its 2018 finale Saturday. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m., CT, at the Show Me Center. This is the final contest before Ohio Valley Conference play begins on Jan. 3.

Series History
Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series against Harris-Stowe, 3-0. The most recent matchup between the two teams was Nov.16, 2015 at the Show Me Center. The Redhawks defeated the Hornets, 78-66. The first game of the series was Nov. 21, 2008 when the Redhawks won 101-78 in Cape Girardeau.

How We Got Here
Southeast Missouri sits at 4-6 this season despite a 0-3 start. The Redhawks lost at #6 Mississippi State (88-53, Nov. 6), Bradley (85-79, Nov. 10), Southern Illinois (60-40, Nov. 14), North Alabama (67-80, Nov. 24) and Indiana State (51-62, Nov. 29). The four wins came against Western Illinois (81-71, Nov. 20), NJIT (68-58, Nov. 25), Illinois-Springfield (82-46, Dec. 4) and Evansville (54-50, Dec. 8). Most recently, SEMO fell to Memphis, 69-57, at Elma Roane Fieldhouse. 
 Tesia Thompson leads the team with 16.9 points per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 4.4 assists and 3.1 steals per contest.

Scouting the Hornets
The Hornets are currently 5-5 this season and have a 1-3 record on the road. Recently, the Hornets hosted Lindenwood-Belleville and lost 59-50. Harris-Stowe averages 63.4 points, 39.9 rebounds and 17.6 turnovers per game. Guard Jay'la Davis averages 13.1 points and 2.4 rebounds per game through 10 contests. Davis is 23-of-33  (.697) at the free throw line this season. The St. Louis native has scored double-digits in all but two games this season. Forward Takesia Barnes averages 11.4 points and nine rebounds per contest.
