Southeast Missouri's track & field teams return to action this Friday and Saturday at the Indiana Relays in Bloomington, Ind.
Track events kick off at 5:30 p.m. beginning with the men's 60m dash. Field events start at 5:35 with the men's long jump. The final round of competitions begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the women's.
Last Time Out
In their last meet the Redhawks track and field teams both competed at the Vanderbilt Invitational last Friday and Saturday.
In the women's shot put, McKenna Baker placed 18th with a distance of 44'6.75" (13.58m).
Logan Blomquist placed ninth for Southeast in the men's shot put reaching a distance of 55'5.50"
(16.90m).
In the men's triple jump, Tre Curry placed 13th for the Redhawks reaching a height of 47'1" (14.35m).
Marc Maton finished 16th for Southeast with a time of 8:28.86 in the men's 3000m run.
The men's 4 x 400m relay was the final competition the Redhawks placed in on the final day of competition. The team of Collin Schwab, Brandon Chunn, Bryce Pease and John McDonald placed 12th as a team with a time of 3:21.58.
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks season continues next Friday and Saturday in Carbondale, Ill. for the SIUC Don DeNoon Invitational on Feb. 2-3.
