The Redhawks and Eagles will tip off at 2:00 p.m. Saturday as part of Hall of Fame weekend. Series History
Southeast Missouri leads the all-time series against Jacksonville State 13-5. On the road, the Redhawks are 5-4; however, SEMO has not won on the road since Jan. 28, 2010, dropping four-straight to the Gamecocks. Last season, Southeast was victorious at home, 61-47.

Scouting the Gamecocks
Jacksonville State enters Wednesday's game riding back-to-back wins over Eastern Kentucky on the road and a one-point, 69-68 victory over Morehead State. The Gamecocks are 10-11 on the season and 3-6 in OVC play. JSU got off to a slow 0-3 start before earning a 20-point victory over Austin Peay. The Gamecocks followed with a two-point loss to Tennessee Tech and a low-scoring one-point loss to undefeated OVC leader Belmont, 53-54. On the season, JSU is 5-4 at home. Briana Benson leads the team with 12.2 points per game while ranking second with 5.5 rebounds per game; however, in conference play, Benson's offensive output dips to 9.1 PPG. She ranks second in the OVC with an .887 free-throw percentage. Lacey Buchanon's 14.0 points per game in conference is tops on the team while Tyler Phelion is putting up 12.4 PPG. As a team, JSU ranks ninth in scoring with 65 points per game but lead the league in scoring defense, limiting opponents to just 61.7 points.

A Look Back
Southeast trailed Austin Peay by only two points going to the fourth quarter Saturday but a 27-point final frame by the Govs was too much for the Redhawks to handle in the end, 84-74. The Redhawks were once again led in scoring by senior Bri Mitchell. Her 15 points extends her double-digit point streak to three games. It was her team-leading 17th double-digit point game this season and 50th of her career. Adrianna Murphy finished the game recording her second-straight double-double. The sophomore had 13 points and dished out 10 assists, her third double-digit assist game this season. She also had six rebounds in the contest. Ashton Luttrull also reached double-figure scoring on Saturday, finishing with 13 points. Her 13 points comes on the heels of 13 points against Murray State on Wednesday. Luttrull and Murphy co-led the team with six rebounds each. Southeast was narrowly outshot in the game, 43.9 percent to 44.4. Southeast nailed eight 3-point baskets in the contest and shot 36 percent from beyond the arc. It was a close game throughout the contest as the score was tied only twice but the lead changed hands six times.

In the Home Stretch
Following Wednesday's game at Jacksonville State, the Redhawks will have only six regular-season games left on their schedule. Four of those games will take place at the Show Me Center. Southeast will look to turn its home record around in its final games after going 5-6 in Cape this season. SEMO is 1-3 in home OVC games in 2016-17.

Leaving Their Legacy
Southeast's two seniors, Olivia Hackmann and Bri Mitchell, are the newest inductees to the Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball 1,000-Point Club. Hackmann scored her 1,000th point on Dec. 31 while Mitchell was inducted on Jan. 21. They are the 17th and 18th all-time members to the club, eighth and ninth of SEMO's Division I era. Sonya Daugherty and Tarina Nixon (2005-09) were the last inducted into the club, also doing it in the same season.

Assisting Milestone
Bri Mitchell currently has 295 assists in a Redhawk uniform, ranking ninth all-time. 300 career assists would move the senior into seventh. Only six other Southeast Missouri players have recorded 300 assists in their career. Bri Mitchell recorded her first double-digit assist game against Alabama A&M with 12.

Help! I Need Somebody
Sophomore point guard Adrianna Murphy is 18th in the nation with 133 assists this season. Her 6.0 assists per game ranks 21st. Murphy has had three double-digit assist performances this season including a career-high 14. Her 14-assist game is the sixth most in an NCAA game this season. For the second year in a row, Murphy has cracked the single-season top 10 with 133. She is currently 13 assists away from entering the career top-10 list as a sophomore.

Sharp Shooting Sniper
Junior guard Hannah Noe hit her 100th career 3-pointer in the game at UT Martin on Jan. 14. Her 104 3-pointers ranks seventh all-time at SEMO. The record, held by Julie Meier (1991-95) is 174. Her 54 makes this season ranks ninth. The single-season record is 68 makes from long range held by Natalie Purcell (2005-06).

Wiping the Glass
Southeast Missouri ranks 34th nationally, third in the OVC, in total rebounds with 888; however, Southeast's 40.36 rebounds per game ranks 76th nationally. Southeast is 7-4 when it outrebounds its opponents. SEMO ranks 29th in the country with 16 offensive rebounds per game, a figure that leads the OVC. A season-high 32 offensive boards against Lipscomb (Dec. 6) resulted in 30 second-chance points, also a season best.
