Start Times (CT): Friday - 3:30 p.m.; Saturday - 11 a.m.
The Southeast Missouri track & field teams continue the outdoor season by hosting the annual Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational.
The meet will open on Friday at 3:30 p.m. with the hammer throw and the 10,000m run. The remaining events will be held Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. with shot put.
The Redhawks will be joined by Arkansas State, Memphis, regional rival Southern Illinois, conference rival SIU Edwardsville and more.
National Ranks
Kevin Farley currently ranks in the top 30 of three separate events, with all three efforts from results at the Jaguar Opener on March 3-4 earlier this month. Farley ranks 25th in shot put (18.14m), 28th in discus (54.55m) and 30th in hammer throw (62.24m).
Other Redhawks ranked in the top 100 include Marc Maton (69th in 1500m; 3:50.80), N'Kia Jones (91st in triple jump; 11.91m) and Aaliah Herron (92nd in shot put; 14.26m).
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky next weekend, April 8-9, for the Hilltopper Relays hosted by Western Kentucky University. The meet will kick off on Friday at 1 p.m. with several field events and the 3000m run. The remaining events will be held on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
