Home Sweet HomeSoutheast Missouri women's basketball (14-12, 7-6 OVC) returns to the Show Me Center Saturday to begin the final two home games of the season. The Redhawks will host the Eastern Illinois Panthers (3-22, 2-11 OVC) in a 2 p.m. contest.

Upcoming EventsFaculty & Staff DaySaturday's doubleheader will feature Southeast Missouri Faculty and Staff Day. All faculty and staff with a valid Southeast Missouri ID will receive half-priced admission to the both women's and men's games.
Mississippi MuttsMississippi Mutts, Furry Kid Klubhouse, and the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri will be in attendance at Saturday's games. There will be prizes and giveaways for four-legged Redhawk fans throughout the doubleheader.

Series HistorySoutheast is 20-18 against Eastern Illinois since joining NCAA Division I. The Redhawks are 12-7 against the Panthers in the Show Me Center. Southeast has defeated Eastern Illinois in back-to-back home games. Southeast edged EIU last season at home, 69-65, on Feb. 7.

The Last MeetingEastern Illinois defeated Southeast Missouri on Feb. 6 in Charleston, Illinois to pick up its first OVC win and snap a 21-game losing streak. The Redhawks held an 11-point lead at halftime but were outscored by 16 points in the second half to fall to the Panthers, 64-59.
Bri Mitchell led the way for Southeast with 17 points in the game.
Erin Bollmann finished the game with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Adrianna Murphy had nine points, nine rebounds, five assists, and tied a career-high five steals in the game.

Let's RecapSoutheast ended its three-game road slate winless, finishing with an 80-61 loss at Murray State on Feb. 13. The road swing featured back-to-back road losses for the first time since the UTEP Tournament in late November.
Bri Mitchell turned in her fifth career 20-point game at Murray State.
Deja Jones tipped the double-digit mark for the second game in a row with 10 points. 24 turnovers by Southeast resulted in 30 points off turnovers for the Racers.Â

Looking at the Eastern Illinois PanthersEastern Illinois followed up their win over Southeast with a 63-56 victory over Austin Peay four days later. The Panthers went toe-to-toe with Murray State on Wednesday, narrowly falling to the Racers, 74-71. The Panthers are 0-13 on the road this season with all three of their wins coming at home. The Panthers are led offensively by Shakita Cox with 10.2 points and Erica Brown with 10.1 points per game. Brown also leads EIU in rebounding with 7.2 rebounds a game.

Looking AheadThe Redhawks will play the final home game of the season on Feb. 24 against SIUE. Wednesday night will feature Senior Night as the Redhawks celebrate the careers of seniors

Adrianna Murphy has cracked Southeast's single-season top ten list in assists. Murphy currently has 127 in her rookie season, which ranks 10th. Sherry Mitchell (1990-91) holds the single-season assists record with 232. The most recent player on the list is Sara Costell (2003-04) who ranks sixth with 144.

Double-Double DroughtSoutheast Missouri had seven double-doubles during the non-conference portion of its schedule this season. The Redhawks did not record a single double-double in league play until
Deja Jones put up 13 points and 10 rebounds at UT Martin, Feb. 10.
