MARTIN, Tenn. – Twymond Howard scored 19 points and Kedar Edwards tied an Ohio Valley Conference single-game high 21 rebounds to lead UT Martin (14-12, 6-5) to a 77-64 win over Southeast Missouri (5-20, 2-10) Thursday at the Elam Center.

Southeast, which dropped its fourth-straight game, trailed by 25 points before making a ferocious comeback in the second half.

The Redhawks were down, 60-35, with 11:19 remaining when they put together a 23-6 run to get UTM's lead under double figures.

"We wanted to cut their lead to single-digits around the four-minute mark and we accomplished that," said Southeast head coach
Rick Ray. "We did a good job of competing and coming back. We just struggled to establish any flow or rhythm on offense against their 2-2-1 press."

Isiah Jones scored 12 points to key the surge and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers, including the one that made it a 66-58 game with 3:47 left to play. The Skyhawks missed 10-consecutive field goals and went scoreless for 4:24 during that stretch.

UTM, however, regrouped to score six unanswered points out of a 30-second timeout and pulled ahead, 72-58, with 2:19 remaining.

Jacolby Mobley's 3-pointer pushed the Skyhawks lead to 15 twice in the final 1:04 before UTM polished off the 77-64 win.

Southeast jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first 1:46 of the game when Jones scored five-straight and
Trey Kellum followed with a layup.

After Alex Anderson made a 3-pointer to cut the Redhawks lead to three, Jones was called for a technical foul and Anderson split two free throws. Myles Taylor knocked down a 3-pointer to give UTM its first lead at 12-11 with 11:52 remaining in the first half.

Mobley later scored five points to help grab the Skyhawks a 19-15 advantage before
Jamaal Calvin buried a 3-pointer to pull Southeast to within a point. Calvin, however, was charged with a technical foul after his basket and Mobley tacked on two free throws with eight minutes left.

Eric McGill's jumper regained a 24-21 edge for Southeast at the 6:05 mark, but UTM answered with a 14-3 run to grab a 35-27 halftime lead.

Howard shot 7-of-18 from the field and 5-of-6 at the free throw line, and dished out five assists to lead UTM. Mobley followed with 15 points, while Anderson notched 14 and Edwards added 10 to his double-double.

UTM outrebounded Southeast, 44-35, and had 12 offensive rebounds, nine of which came in the second half.

Jones led Southeast with 19 points. He buried three 3-pointers and made a career-high 8-of-11 free throws, scoring a dozen points in the second stanza. Jones matched a career-high eight rebounds, as well.

Antonius Cleveland posted 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a pair of steals in the 50
th double-digit scoring game of his career. Cleveland is now 66 points away from getting 1,000 as a Redhawk.

Calvin finished with 12 points in 29 minutes.

Southeast shot just 53.1 percent (17-of-32) at the free throw line. Its 32 free throw attempts marked a season-high.

The Redhawks close out their three-game road trip at rival Murray State Saturday.
