The Southeast Missouri women's basketball team will continue its season-opening homestand Monday evening against Hannibal-LaGrange. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. from the Show Me Center.

A Look at What's Ahead
Southeast will host Western Illinois on Wednesday in this year's Classroom on the Court game. Over two thousand school children from the area are expected to be in attendance. The game is set to begin at 11 a.m. from the Show Me Center. Southeast will begin a four-game road swing beginning at Xaiver on Nov. 18. That game will also tipoff at 11 a.m. on Friday. It's then off to Evansville on Sunday to close SEMO's four games in a seven-day stretch.

Scouting Hannibal-LaGrange
Hannibal-LaGrange, an NAIA program, has opened the season on a four-game losing skid. The season began with a 74-67 loss to Culver-Stockton. Most recently, HLG fell to Saint Ambrose on Saturday, 87-69. Sarah Cline leads the team with 19.0 a game. Emma Penn is the team's rebounding leader with 8.7 boards a game.

Looking Back
The Southeast Missouri women's basketball team fell to the University of Cincinnati in Friday's season opener at the Show Me Center, 83-75.
Olivia Hackmann led the Redhawks with a career night, tallying a career-high 29 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. It was the first career double-double for the redshirt-senior. She hit 12 field goals, also a career high, in 19 attempts. She drained three 3-pointers and was 2-for-3 from the free-throw line.
Ashton Luttrull finished the game with nine points on three 3-pointers while
Bri Mitchell and
Hilma Mededovic tallied eight points in the season opener. As a team, the Redhawks outshot the Bearcats 47 percent (33-of-70) to 37 percent (30-of-81). On the glass, Southeast was outrebounded 50-43. Cincinnati pulled in 31 offensive rebounds.

Olivia Hackmann began the 2016-17 season with a career-high 29 points against Cincinnati. She also worked the boards, pulling in 12 rebounds for her first career double-double. Hackmann's 29 points is the most by a SEMO player since Sonya Daugherty tallied 31 against Murray State on Feb. 19, 2009.
