Southeast Faces Austin Peay on Senior Day

Jasmine Robinson, Allyson Bradshaw, Hillary Lively and Yelena Rosado finish their Southeast careers Saturday.

About Southeast Missouri: The Redhawks are 10-18 overall, 3-12 in Ohio Valley Conference play and are coming off of a 78-67 loss at SIU Edwardsville on Wednesday night. Southeast took the lead with just over 12 minutes remaining but the Redhawks were unable to complete the comeback as the Cougars were efficicent in closing out the game. Allyson Bradshaw had a team-high 15 points, including three triples, while Erin Bollmann and Brianna Mitchell both added 13 points. Mitchell also had six assists and three steals. Olivia Hackmann finished with seven points, four steals, three assists and two blocks.
 
For the year, Southeast is shooting 38.2% from the field, 27.5% from 3-point range and 60.4% from the free throw line. Jasmine Robinson leads the team with an average of 12.0 points per contest while Bollmann averages 8.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Hackmann adds 8.1 points per contest and has a team-high 23 blocks. Mitchell leads the team with 71 assists.
 
About Austin Peay: The Lady Govs are 9-19 overall, 6-9 in OVC play and have lost three straight. Tiasha Gray leads the team with 20.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 103 steals on the season. Kristen Stainback and Tearra Banks both average 12.4 points per contest.
 
Previous Meeting: On Jan. 31, APSU defeated Southeast 70-62 at the Dunn Center in Clarksville. Jennifer Nwokocha scored a game-high 16 points while Brianne Alexander added 15 and Stainback scored 14 for the Lady Govs. Bollmann and Robinson both scored 13 for Southeast while Yelena Rosado added 10.
 
Stingy Defense: Southeast ranks second in the OVC in scoring defense, allowing just 64.9 points per game. The Redhawks are best in the league in 3-point field goal defense, yielding just 28.8% (115-of-399) of shots from beyond the arc.
 
King Owns the Glass: Junior forward Connor King leads the team in rebounds with 8.3 boards per game, which ranks fourth in the OVC. She is sixth in the league with 2.9 offensive rebounds per contest. King has reached double-digits in boards on 11 occassions this season, including a string of five straight from Dec. 30 - Jan. 10.
 
Bradshaw Climbing Triples Leaderboard: Senior guard Allyson Bradshaw ranks third in Southeast history with 162 made 3-pointers during her career. She ranks first among current OVC players in career triples, leading Austin Peay's Kristen Stainback by two. Julie Meier (1991-95) holds the Southeast record with 174 while Tarina Nixon (2005-09) ranks second with 169.
 
Scholar-Athletes: As a team, the Redhawks recorded a 3.3 cumulative grade point average during the 2014 fall semester.
 
Senior Day: Southeast will honor its four seniors along with their families prior to Saturday's contest. Allyson Bradshaw has played in 111 games (49 starts) during her career, averaging 7.4 points per game. Bradshaw will graduate in December with a degree in Communication Disorders. Hillary Lively has seen action in 47 contests (15 starts) during her two-year career, averaging 3.2 points and 3.1 rebounds. She will graduate in May with a Psychology degree. Jasmine Robinson is the team's leading scorer after transferring from Alabama prior to her senior season. She has already received her bachelor's degree in General Studies and is pursuing a master's in Higher Education. Yelena Rosado has played in 82 games (25 starts), averaging 3.5 points and 1.0 rebound during her career. She will graduate with a Criminal Justice degree in May.
