Photo GalleryJACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Jacksonville State (12-5, 3-2) shot 46% from the floor and made seven 3-pointers in a 70-34 defeat of Southeast Missouri (7-11, 0-5) on Wednesday evening. The Gamecocks forced 20 turnovers, which led to 26 points.

Hannah Noe established career-highs with eight points and 24 minutes played for the Redhawks.
Erin Bollmann scored six points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Destany McLin scored a game-high 19 points for JSU while Briana Benson added 15 points. As a team, the Gamecocks connected on 31-of-67 field goal attempts on the evening.

Jax State opened the game on an 8-2 run before
Allyson Bradshaw drained her 150
th career 3-pointer, becoming only the third player in program history to achieve that feat.

The Gamecocks then went on a 12-2 run before the Redhawks scored on consecutive possessions with baskets by
Erin Bollmann and
Hannah Noe to cut the deficit to 20-11 with 8:06 remaining before halftime.

JSU scored the next eight points to increase the lead to 28-11 until
Brianna Mitchell connected on a jumper to end the run. The Gamecocks score five straight after that and held a 33-13 lead with 4:04 remaining in the first half.

Jax State continued on a 12-0 run to stretch the lead to 40-13 at halftime.

In the first half, JSU shot 51.4% (18-for-35) from the floor while Southeast connected on only 27.3% (6-for-22) of field goal attempts and committed 13 turnovers.

In the second half, the Gamecocks outscored Southeast 30-21. Jax State shot 40.6% (13-for-32) in the final 20 minutes while Southeast made only 28.6% (8-for-28) of its attempts after halftime.

The Redhawks shot only 28.0% (14-for-50) throughout the game. Southeast went 4-for-15 (26.7%) from beyond the arc.
