The Redhawks (2-1) were outshot 15-6 by the Bears (3-3), including a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal.

Northern Colorado took a 1-0 lead shortly after halftime on Grover's goal that went through the legs of Southeast GK
Kindra Lierz and was assisted by Essence Ortiz-Laneir.

Lierz added six saves on the afternoon.
Ashley Brendel and
Sunni Kesenich tied for the team-lead with two shots apiece. Brendel and
Taylor Byrd recorded a shot on goal.

Grover posted game-best four shots with all of them being on goal.

Southeast returns to non-conference action with a Friday evening home matchup against Illinois State. Start time is at 6:30 p.m. from Missouri National Guard Field at Houck Stadium.
