HTML Box ScoreCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri (7-6) forced 17 turnovers and dished out 15 assists as the Redhawks cruised to a 77-40 win over William Woods (8-3) on Tuesday at the Show Me Center.
Erin Bollmann notched her third double-double of the season with a career-high 14 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four steals in 25 minutes of action.

For the fifth time in the last six games, Southeast held its opponent under 60 points. The Redhawks shot 44.8% (30-for-67) from the floor and drained five 3-pointers in the contest. Southeast outscored the Owls 28-0 in points off of turnovers, 12-0 in fast break points and 38-12 in bench scoring.

"I really like that we stayed within ourselves today," head coach
Ty Margenthaler said. "We're being really efficient in taking care of the basketball. It was a great December for our team."

At 7-6, Southeast enters Ohio Valley Conference play later this week with a winning record for the first time since 2008.

Starting forwards
Hillary Lively and
Connor King established career-bests in the contest. Lively set a career-high with 11 points while King tied her high mark with 13 rebounds and set a new career-best with four blocks.

Yelena Rosado scored three of the first five points for the Redhawks as Southeast held an early 5-4 lead over the first five minutes of the contest.

The Redhawks then went on a 9-0 run over the next 2:33 to increase the lead to 12-4 as
Olivia Hackmann made two jumpers and Bollmann added a steal, breakaway layup and free throw.

Hannah Noe drained a 3-pointer from the corner to put Southeast up 25-10 with 7:20 remaining in the opening half. The Redhawks offense continued to score efficiently the rest of the half, and Bollmann converted a 3-point play to increase the lead to 36-18 with 47 seconds left in the half.

At halftime, Southeast led 36-20, led by Hackmann's 10 points during the first 20 minutes. As a team, the Redhawks shot 39.4% (13-for-33) from the floor during the first half. King added eight rebounds and a career-high three blocks while Bollmann recorded seven points, seven rebounds and three steals before intermission.

William Woods shot 33.3% (9-for-27) in the first half, led by 10 points from Nia Lateju. Dennisha Rice added five points in the initial 20 minutes.

The teams traded baskets during the first few minutes of the second half before the Redhawks offense pulled away.
Allyson Bradshaw drained a triple and Bollmann added another fast break layup to key a 7-0 run over 1:06, giving Southeast a 48-28 advantage with 11:58 left.

Robinson drained jumpers on three straight possessions to increase the lead to 54-28 with 10:07 left.

The Redhawks went on a 19-2 run over 5:38 during the latter part of the second half and had 10 players receive significant minutes in the contest.

Robinson finished with 13 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Brianna Mitchell contributed with five points, four rebounds and four assists off the bench.

Lateju scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead William Woods. Rice registered seven points and four boards. Julia Wells added eight rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench. The Owls shot 24.2% (15-for-62) from the floor and made only one of 12 shots from beyond the arc.

Southeast opens OVC play on Thursday afternoon with a 3 p.m. CT tip-off at preseason OVC favorite Belmont. The Redhawks will finish the road trip to Nashville with a 5:30 p.m. CT start at Tennessee State on Saturday.
