Fresh off a week break, Southeast Missouri (5-5) returns to action to face Southeastern Conference power Arkansas (7-2) Saturday. Tip-off is set for 7:32 p.m., CT, at Verizon Arena in Little Rock.

Follow the Redhawks
Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the radio at ESPN 92.9 FM and Real Rock 99.3 FM. Erik Sean will provide play-by-play. Live stats can be accessed online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. The matchup airs live on the SEC Network with Roy Philpott and Darrin Horn calling the action courtside.

Back to Work
Southeast was off last week for final exams and hits the road to face two SEC opponents in three days. After their game against Arkansas Saturday, the Redhawks meet Ole Miss in Southaven, Miss., on Monday, Dec. 22. Saturday's game is the only one the Razorbacks have scheduled in Little Rock this year. The rest of Arkansas' home games are played at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

Series History
The Redhawks and Razorbacks meet for the ninth time in 2014-15. Arkansas owns 7-1 lead in the all-time series. All games were played away from Cape Girardeau. Southeast's only win against the Razorbacks came in 1924-25 (28-21). These teams hook up for the first time since 2010-11, Dickey Nutt's second season as the Redhawks head coach. Arkansas won that game, 66-56, on Nov. 24, 2010.

Against the SEC
Southeast is 1-18 all-time against the current SEC membership. The lone win, however, was against Arkansas (28-21) in 1924-25. The Redhawks have faced Alabama (0-1), Arkansas (1-7), LSU (0-1), Mississippi State (0-1), Missouri (0-7) and Vanderbilt (0-1).

Arkansas Ties
Dickey Nutt's brothers, Houston and Danny, used to coach football at Arkansas. Houston was the Razorbacks head coach from 1998-2007 and Danny coached Arkansas' running backs from 1998-2006. Houston is now an in studio college football analyst for CBS and Danny is the running backs coach at Eastern Illinois.

More Nutt Notes
Dickey Nutt was the head coach at Arkansas State for 13 years before he took the job at Southeast Missouri. The only time Nutt coached against Arkansas was during his second year with the Redhawks in 2010-11 (L, 56-66). That game was part of the Razorback Challenge which also involved Florida Gulf Coast and Grambling State that year. Nutt has coached against each of the five NCAA Division I schools in Arkansas. He owns a 19-18 record against such foes.
Arkansas                       0-1
Arkansas-Little Rock    14-12
Arkansas-Pine Bluff      4-0
Arkansas State             0-3
Central Arkansas          1-2

What About the SEC?
Dickey Nutt has a 2-10 record against SEC schools. Nutt has faced Arkansas (0-1), Ole Miss (2-1), Mississippi State (0-2), Missouri (0-5) and Georgia (0-1) in his coaching tenure. He is 0-4 against the SEC as Southeast's head coach. Nutt's last win over an SEC school was when he was at Arkansas State (beat Ole Miss, 70-68, on Dec. 1, 2004).

Home Streak Ends at Seven
Southeast saw its seven-game home winning streak end in a 73-61 loss against Missouri State (Dec. 13). The loss was the Redhawks first at the Show Me Center since Feb. 12, 2014 (79-70, vs. UT Martin).

100th Game
Forward Nino Johnson will play his 100th career game at Southeast when the Redhawks take the court against Arkansas. Johnson has played in 99 contests and made 58 starts in his four-year stint. He ranks fifth in career field goal percentage (.571) and second in career blocks (144).

Last Time Out
After leading, 32-28, at the half, Southeast made just 1-of-13 threes in the game's final 20 minutes during its 73-61 setback against Missouri State (Dec. 13). The Bears heated up to shoot 87.5 percent (7-of-8) from beyond the arc, knocking down their first six of the second half. Nino Johnson led the Redhawks with 13 points.

Scoring Spree
Southeast's leading scorer, Jarekious Bradley pitched in double figures in seven of his eight starts since returning from a quad contusion injury. Bradley, who averages 16.1 points a game, began the year by scoring 15 vs. Hannibal-LaGrange (Nov. 18) and 20 at Central Arkansas (Nov. 22). He turned in his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 boards at Bowling Green (Nov. 25) and followed that up with 17 points vs. Alabama A&M (Nov. 29) and 12 at Missouri (Dec. 2). More recently, Bradley had a game-high 21 points vs. Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 6) and followed that up with 17 points and the game-winning shot vs. Southern Illinois (Dec. 10). He leads the Redhawks with 19 three-pointers made and is 22-of-25 at the free throw line, as well. Bradley enters the weekend ranked fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring and third in free throw percentage (.880).

Career Snapshot
In two years at Southeast, Jarekious Bradley posted 34 double-digit scoring games, eight double-digit rebound performances, two 30-point efforts and twenty 20-plus scoring games. He also has seven double-doubles, currently second-most among the Redhawks active players. Bradley went over 700 (737) career points this season and is six treys away from reaching 100 career three-point field goals made.

Final Exams
Like Southeast, Arkansas also returns to action after taking a break for final exams last week. The Razorbacks snapped a two-game losing streak with a 69-55 win over Dayton on Dec. 13.

Block Party
Nino Johnson leads Southeast with 24 blocks through 10 starts this year. Johnson had three or more swats in five of his last seven contests. Johnson is also second in the Ohio Valley Conference, averaging 2.4 blocks per game.

Meanwhile, Johnson is eighth in points scored (786), third in rebounds (588), 10th in steals (79) and second in blocks (144).

The Razorbacks lead the SEC in scoring (83.4 ppg), assists (19.2 apg) and three-point field goal percentage (.420). Arkansas has knocked down 73 threes, averaging eight per game. Sophomore guard Bobby Portis is the team's top scorer with 15.8 points per contest. Portis, who stands at 6-11, set the Razorbacks freshman record for rebounds (230) and single-game points (35). He was just the sixth Razorback to earn All-SEC honors as a freshman.
