Photo GalleryTOLEDO, Ohio – Jasmine Robinson posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead Southeast Missouri (5-5) to a 61-51 win over Detroit (3-5) in the first game of the Glass City Classic. The Redhawks defense held the Titans scoreless over the final 3:08 and have now won four straight games away from home. For the third straight contest, Southeast held its opponent under 60 points.

Allyson Bradshaw scored 13 points with a career-best eight rebounds while
Brianna Mitchell added eight points and career-highs with six assists and six boards.
Olivia Hackmann scored six points and tied a career-best with eight rebounds.
Kaley Leyhue provided a spark off of the bench with her first two career 3-pointers.

Southeast shot 33.3% (24-for-72) from the floor and held Detroit to a 30.9% (21-for-68) total. In the second half, the Redhawks shot 42.4% (14-for-33) from the field. Southeast outrebounded the Titans 55-44 and forced 12 turnovers.

Detroit got out to a 7-4 lead over the game's first four minutes. A driving layup by Bradshaw gives the Redhawks an 8-7 lead with 13:23 remaining in the opening half. She then followed it up with a 3-pointer on the following possession to increase the lead to four.

The Southeast defense then held Detroit scoreless for 4:53 as the Redhawks went on a 7-0 run. Leyhue drained her first career triple just four seconds after entering the game to put Southeast up 14-11 with 9:37 left in the first half.

Bradshaw later connected on her second 3-pointer to increase the lead to 21-15. She has now made 136 treys in her career.

The Titans went on an 8-0 run over the final 3:14 of the first half to lead 28-25 at intermission.

Southeast shot 25.6% (10-for-39) in the first 20 minutes while Detroit shot 31.4% (11-for-35) in the first half.

With 16:52 remaining, Bradshaw converted a 3-point play to pull Southeast within four at 34-30. Robinson converted a layup following a pass from Mitchell to pull within two of Detroit at 34-32 with 14:15 left.

Hackmann tied the game at 34 with a jumper after going coast-to-coast with 12:50 remaining in the 2nd half.

The teams then battled on both ends with Detroit pulling ahead before
Erin Bollmann tied the score 44-44 on a layup with 7:28 left. After a Titans basket, Leyhue drained a deep trey to put the Redhawks up 47-46 with 7:11 remaining.

Mitchell put Southeast up for good with a jumper at the 5:04 mark and also hit a contested shot to increase the lead to 53-48 with 3:32 left and Robinson hit a tough shot in the lane to put Southeast up 55-51 with 1:59 left.

Robinson,
Connor King and Mitchell all made free throws to seal the game. The Southeast defense forced misses on Detroit's final eight shot attempts.

The Redhawks conclude the Glass City Classic with an 11 a.m. CT tip-off against Idaho on Sunday.
