Let's Get a Win
Southeast enters Saturday's matchup on a season-long four-game losing streak. The Redhawks have lost six of their last seven games. Tennessee State has the worst record in the Ohio Valley Conference at 2-15 overall. The Tigers, however, do have a win in the league.

Last Time Out
The Redhawks lost to defending Ohio Valley Conference champion Belmont, 107-94, Thursday. Southeast suffered a double-digit loss for the third time this season. The Redhawks also lost at Saint Louis, 87-64, on Nov. 8 and at Memphis, 77-65, on Dec. 21. Southeast dropped to 11-11 all-time in OVC home-openers.

Big Time Offense
Southeast and Belmont locked up in a huge offensive battle. The Redhawks shot 57.6 percent from the field and a season-best 63.3 percent in the first half. Meanwhile, the Bruins finished at 63.3 percent from the floor and knocked down a season-high 17 threes. The Redhawks 94 points were their fourth-most in a game this season, while Belmont put up 107 against Southeast for the second year in a row. A total of four players scored over 20 points in the game between the two teams.

Series History
Tennessee State owns a 24-17 lead in its all-time series against Southeast. The Tigers have won five-straight games against the Redhawks and are 8-1 in the last nine meetings between these teams. TSU, however, has the most losses of any Ohio Valley Conference team this season and comes to Cape Girardeau averaging less than 70 points per game (65.9).

Conference Crossover
The Redhawks are in the middle of a four-game stretch against East Division teams in the Ohio Valley Conference. Southeast stepped outside of its division for the first time when it faced Belmont (Jan. 9). After Saturday's matchup with Tennessee State, the Redhawks hit the road to face Morehead State (Jan. 16) and Tennessee Tech (Jan. 18). Southeast will not play another West Division opponent until Jan. 23 when it hosts SIU Edwardsville.

OVC Start
Southeast is winless through its first three games of its Ohio Valley Conference season for the first time since 2008-09. The Redhawks and UT Martin are currently the only two teams left without a league win. Southeast's last OVC win was an 84-68 victory at Murray State on March 2, 2013.

Bradley Leads the OVC in Scoring
For the first time this season, Jarekious Bradley moved to the top of the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring. Bradley, who is averaging 21.6 points per game, ranks 17th in the nation in scoring and 10th in the country in total points (346). He started OVC play with a bang, averaging 26.3 points in his first three contests. Bradley shot 57.6 percent (19-of-33) from the field, 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from three-point range and was perfect at the free throw line (4-of-4) in his first two conference starts. He made all but four of the Redhawks three-pointers during their two-game road swing at Murray State (Jan. 2) and Austin Peay (Jan. 4). Bradley began the conference season by scoring 22 points, including 15 in the first 12 minutes of the second half against the Racers. He also made a jumper that gave Southeast its first lead of the game. Two days later, Bradley became the sixth different player in the OVC to score 30 points in a game this season. He shot 11-of-19 from the field, 6-of-10 from downtown and scored 17 first-half points on his way to putting up 30 against Austin Peay (Jan. 4). Most recently, Bradley poured in a game-high 27 points against Belmont (Jan. 9). He has now scored 20 or more points in 13 of his 16 starts.

Lucas Nutt is 10th all-time in the Ohio Valley Conference in career assists. Nutt, who currently has a team-high 86 assists this season and 505 in his career, surpassed Tennessee Tech's Carlton Clarington (470, 1981-85) for the No. 10 spot. Here is the complete list:

A week after scoring 17 points, including 13 in the second half at Murray State (Jan. 2), Josh Langford dropped in a season-high 22 points during his second career start vs. Belmont (Jan. 9). Langford scored Southeast's first 11 points against the Bruins and went a perfect 10-of-10 from the field in that game. He has scored double figures twice in six games since joining the team in December.
