Dayton, Ohio – Southeast Missouri senior third baseman
Trenton Moses was 5-for-5 with four RBI's in the Redhawks 10-7 win over defending Horizon League Regular Season Champion Wright State Friday evening at Nischwitz Stadium in Dayton, Ohio. Moses was 5-for-5 with one homerun, a double and three RBI's against North Dakota on March 13, 2011 at Capaha Field as the senior improved his reaching base safely streak to 35 games.

Trenton Moses is the total package and he is on quite a roll right now, he also made some great defensive plays tonight to go along with his offense,” said head coach Mark Hogan.
Sophomore
Christian Hull (2-1) got the win for Southeast going a career-high six innings allowing two earned runs with six strikeouts. The Redhawks improve to 6-8 overall and earn their first road victory of the season.
“Christian made some really good pitches in a few jams tonight and he was very good defensively making a few big plays,” said Hogan.
The Redhawks struck first in the top of the first frame. Senior
Kenton Parmley extended his hitting streak to 21 games with a leadoff double down the left field line.
Moses drove in Parmley with a double to left field, his 20
th RBI of the season. He also extended his reaching base safely streak to 35 games with the drive off the left field fence that put the Redhawks up 1-0.
The Redhawks took a 3-0 lead on one swing of the bat as senior
Kody Campbell hit a towering homer to right field in the top of the fourth inning. It was Campbell's third home run of the season, that scored Moses, who reached earlier on a single up the middle.
The Raiders added a run in the bottom of the fourth to cut the Redhawks lead to 3-1. Brandon Kopale hit an RBI double to right field scoring Tristian Moore, who reached on and infield single and advanced to second on a throwing error.
Wright State then tied the game in the bottom of the fifth inning with a pair of runs scoring on an RBI single up the middle by Preseason All-American Jake Hibbard to tie the contest at 3-3. The Raiders threatened to take the lead, but Hull got out of the jam retiring the final two batters of the inning.
The Redhawks added two runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 5-3 advantage. Moses added his third hit of the afternoon to start the two run frame. He reached second on a balk and would later score on an RBI single to right center off the bat of freshman
Ryan Barnes.
Andy Lennington, who reached on a walk later scored on a fielder's choice off the bat of
Taylor Heon to expand the Redhawks lead to two runs at 5-3.
The Redhawks sent nine men to the plate in the seventh inning plating three runs extending their lead to 8-3. Moses once again added another RBI in the inning spraying a single to right field to highlight the inning.
A safety squeeze off the bat of
Dalton Hewitt scored Parmley to highlight the Redhawks biggest inning of the contest.
The Raiders added two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull within three of the Redhawks at 8-5. The Redhawk hurlers had a hard time finding the strike zone in the frame issuing three walks in the frame, with WSU scoring on a pair of infield hits.
Moses, who is tied for eighth in the country in home runs blasted another opposite field shot in the top of the eighth, his sixth homer of the season to give the Redhawks a 10-5 lead.
Wright State threatened the Redhawks early in the ninth stanza, but Southeast shut the door in the ninth holding on for the 10-7 victory, snapping a four game losing steak.
Moses was 5-for-5 on the day with a home run, double and a trio of singles adding four RBI. Parmley was 2-for-4 with three runs scored to help pace the Southeast offense.
Hull picked up his second win of the season throwing a career-high six innings.
Ryan Prickett threw a scoreless inning of relief. Followed by
Cody Spanberger, who shut the Raiders down with a scoreless eighth inning.
Bobby Hurst threw the final inning for Southeast.

Jordan Marker (2-1) picked up the loss for the Raider after starter Lee Valencheck threw five innings allowing three earned runs. Shortstop Justin Kopale was the only Raider to pick up a pair of hits on the night.
The Redhawks and Raiders will meet up tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m., CT. Junior
Shae Simmons will get the start opposing the Raider's lefthander Cody Kopilchack.
