Quick Hits

On the Road Again
Southeast hits the road for its last three games of the regular-season. After Saturday's matchup with McNeese State, the Redhawks travel to Jacksonville State (Feb. 23) and Austin Peay (Feb. 25) for their final two Ohio Valley Conference games.

Sears BracketBusters
All 11 Ohio Valley Conference teams will participate in the Sears BracketBuster event this weekend. Other pairings involving OVC teams include Tennessee Tech at Coastal Carolina, Morehead State at Bowling Green, Northern Illinois at SIUE, Tennessee State at Miami (Ohio), #16 Saint Mary's at #14 Murray State, IPFW at Eastern Kentucky, UT Martin at Southeastern Louisiana, Illinois-Chicago at Eastern Illinois, Presbyterian at Jacksonville State and Youngstown State at Austin Peay.

Redhawks in BracketBuster Games
The Redhawks are 1-5 all-time in ESPN Sears BracketBuster matchups. Southeast recorded its first win in this event at home against Sacramento State on Feb. 19, 2011.

First Meeting
Southeast and McNeese State will meet for the first time Saturday. The Cowboys are the third Southland Conference school the Redhawks face this season. Southeast is 1-1 against such teams this year, beating Southeastern Louisiana, 63-61, in overtime on Dec. 3 and losing, 88-72, at Central Arkansas on Dec. 5. The Redhawks are 12-6 all-time against the Southland Conference.
