Krissa Gearring averaged a team-high 3.36 kills per set to help Southeast Missouri win their 2017 Redhawks Invitational Tournament. She notched a team-high 15 kills in Friday’s win over Morgan State and then added a team-best 14 kills on Saturday against Evansville and finished the tournament with 37 kills and 34 digs (3.09 digs/set). Gearring also recorded her 1,000th career kill and 1,000th career dig this weekend and was named the Redhawks Invitational Tournament MVP.
