Southeast Missouri junior return specialist Spencer Davis was named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Specialist of the Week on Oct. 20. A native of Florissant, Mo., Davis had 167 all-purpose yards, including 126 on kick returns against No. 3 Eastern Illinois on Oct. 19. He ran a kickoff back for a touchdown for the first time in his college career when he dashed 93 yards with 1:26 left to play in the fourth quarter. The 93-yard kickoff return was the third-longest in Southeast history. Davis also had five catches for 41 yards and scored the Redhawks first touchdown of the game on a 15-yard reception. Southeast had a player win the league's Specialist of the Week Award two-straight weeks.
