St. Louis native Paul McRoberts returned to his hometown and had a huge performance in Southeast Missouri’s 36-19 loss to Southern Illinois in the first NCAA football game at Busch Stadium on Sept. 21. McRoberts had a 75-yard touchdown reception to tie the game at 19-19 midway through the third quarter before the Salukis scored 17 unanswered points. His 75-yard reception tied for the sixth-longest in school history. McRoberts finished with five catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 26.6 yard per reception. His 133 yards were a career-high.
