Justin Carpenter, who started each of Southeast Missouri’s last three contests, averaged 13 points and five rebounds in two games last week. Carpenter, who hails from Mt. Carmel, Illinois, shot a blazing 83.3 percent (10-of-12) from the field and did not miss a free throw (5-of-5) in a pair of Redhawk victories. He finished the week with three assists, two steals and a block, as well. Carpenter established a new season-high with 20 points against North Carolina Central (Dec. 2). He did not miss a field goal (8-of-8) or free throw (3-of-3) and dished out three assists in that game. Carpenter enters the week ranked second in the Ohio Valley Conference shooting 66.7 percent (32-of-48) from the field.
