Emily Coon was selected this week's Adidas Ohio Valley Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Coon was named the MVP of the Maroon Classic after posting 48 kills, 13 blocks and a .482 attack percentage. In the tournament finale, Coon recorded a career-high 23 kills to lead the Redhawks past host-school Mississippi State, taking the tournament title. After the first weekend of play, Coon leads the conference in hitting percentage and ranks second in kills and blocks. Southeast currently leads the conference in blocks (30).
