Kevin Farley posted two top-three finishes at the Red Wolves Open last weekend. The sophomore tossed the shot put 57-4 3/4, less than four inches off of his OVC-leading season best, to place second. He also notched a third-place discus throw of 158-3, which is still ahead of any other OVC thrower. Entering the OVC Outdoor Championships this week, Farley leads the conference in both shot put (season-best 57-8 1/2) and discus (170-11) while ranking second in the hammer throw (185-0).
