A native of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Jason Blum hit .556 (5-for-9) with three runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, six RBI, a 1.444 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage. After doubling in Southeast's season-opener at New Orleans on Feb. 15, the third baseman added a three-run home run to start the scoring in both Saturday and Sunday's games. Blum was also hit by a pitch twice in each of the last two games of the series. Blum finished his big weekend by going 3-for-3 with three RBI, a double and the three-run home run against the Privateers Sunday. He was named the Adidas Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week.
