Tristen Gagan powered the Redhawk offense this weekend, mainly in Sunday’s 17-7 win over Purdue. He hit a two-run home run in the first inning of Saturday’s loss. He followed it up with a 4-for-5 day with five RBI, two doubles, and another home run in Sunday’s series finale. The junior transfer slugged 1.167 and earned a .600 on base clip with two walks and a hit by pitch. The first baseman also fielded a perfect 1.000 percent with 34 putouts.
