Madeline Krumrey posted a 2-1 record and 1.59 ERA in three starts at the Lion Classic II. Krumrey recorded nine strikeouts in 17 innings. She pitched a complete game shutout in a 2-0 victory against tournament host Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 18). Krumrey then turned around to beat Alcorn State (Feb. 19) when she struck out three in five innings. She is 3-1 with a 1.71 ERA in five appearances and four starts this season.
