Nzingha Clarke registered 17 kills during women’s volleyball sweeps of UT Martin and Tennessee Tech. Her outstanding attack percentage (.545) was accompanied by six total blocks to earn a team leading 23.5 points (3.92 per set) for the week. Clarke’s efforts helped the Redhawks finish tied for 8th in the OVC and end the season on a three match winning streak. Clarke tallied eight kills with a .467 hitting clip during a midweek match against UT Martin. She also tacked on three solo blocks to bring her point total for the night to 11. Over the weekend, Clarke’s high success rate continued in an 11 kill (.611 attack percentage) performance against Tennessee Tech. She also added three block assists in the match to lead the contest with 12.5 points.
