Farley was able to capture three gold medals during his final OVC Championship meet. On the opening day of competition, he earned first in the discus toss with a distance of 53.30m (174’ 10”). Farley went on to take first in the shot put (17.76m; 58’ 3.25”) and hammer throw (60.00m; 196’ 10”) on the final day of competition. All three first-place finishes earned Farley his second gold medal in his career for each outdoor event.
