Left-handed pitcher Joey Lucchesi pitched his first complete game in a Redhawk uniform to open OVC play at Eastern Kentucky Friday. Lucchesi held the EKU offense to one run in the game. Lucchesi struck out 13 hitters in the game, tying a career-high in a Redhawk uniform. The Colonels found eight hits but Lucchesi was able to strand 10 runners on base.
