Freshman Adrianna Murphy tied a season-high 13 points in the Redhawks’ first-round loss in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday. Murphy contributed in all aspects of the game, dishing out eight assists, earning four steals, pulled down three rebounds, was a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line, and played a team-high 42 minutes of the overtime affair. Murphy finished with 144 assists in her rookie campaign, finishing tied for sixth in Southeast’s top-10 single-season assists list.
