Last week, Locke was named OVC Field Athlete of the Week for his 5.06m pole vault performance. During this weekend’s competition at the Redhawk Invitational, Locke broke the school indoor pole vaulting record by increasing his OVC leading mark to 5.20m (17’0.75”). His effort topped the original mark of 16’11.5” set in 2002 by Jaret Willi and currently ranks him 45th in the nation.
