For the second-straight week and fourth time in seven games this season, Southeast Missouri running back Geno Hess ran for over 100 yards. A native of Peoria, Illinois, Hess ran for 176 yards and two touchdowns in the Redhawks 32-31 loss to Murray State. He averaged eight yards per carry on 22 attempts and scored on runs of 11 and 12 yards, respectively. Hess went over 2,000 rushing yards (2,067) in his career, becoming only the ninth player in SEMO football history to accomplish that feat.
