Laney Malloy led the Southeast Missouri women’s volleyball offense this past weekend as the Redhawks won Bradley's 2021 CEFCU Invitational. Malloy finished the Invitational with 42 kills, 33 digs, 12.0 blocks and seven assists for MVP all-tournament honors. She also notched a pair of double-doubles. Malloy compiled 16 digs, 10 kills, five assists and three blocks in SEMO’s season opener against DePaul on Aug. 27. Malloy then posted 15 kills, two assists, two blocks, and seven digs for 21.0 points on a .286 hitting clip in the Redhawks win over tournament host, Bradley, on Aug. 28. She then finished the Invitational with 17 kills and 10 digs for 19.5 points in Aug. 28’s late afternoon match with Central Michigan.
