Bryce Norman won Big South-OVC Association Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors Monday.

Norman shared the award with Charleston Southern safety Dominic Pagano.

A native of nearby Jackson, Norman tallied 12 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and forced and recovered a fumble that he returned 46 yards for a touchdown against Robert Morris. The 12 tackles (including seven solo stops) were a game-high and marked his fifth double-digit tackle effort of the season.  Norman's touchdown came in the second quarter and put the team ahead 17-14; it marked the second defensive touchdown of the season for the Redhawks. Norman ranks 27th nationally in tackles per game (9.1).

It is the second Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor of Norman's career.
