Southeast Missouri running back Geno Hess won his fourth Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season Sunday. A native of Peoria, Illinois, Hess hit the century mark for the fifth time in his last seven games when he ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns in SEMO's win over Eastern Illinois (Nov. 12). He averaged 6.6 yards per carry on 30 attempts and scored on runs of 31, 10 and 1 yards. It marked the 15th 100-yard rushing game of his career, a new SEMO record. Hess increased his career rushing touchdowns total to 47, which ranks sixth in OVC history.
